Heinrich Heine e la crisi dell'ideale romantico.
Il corso si propone di interpretare la personalità poetica del maggiore protagonista del periodo tardo-romantico tedesco, già interprete del movimento dello Junges Deutschland e osservatore critico della Germania. Si esploreranno le tensioni politiche, culturali e sociali che permeano la letteratura di Heine e si darà particolare rilievo ai rapporti tra Germania e Francia negli anni '30 del XIX secolo.
Heinrich Heine and the crisis of the Romantic ideal. The course aims to interpret the poetic personality of the greatest late-Romantic German poet, formerly interpreter for the Junges Deutschland movement and critical observer of Germany. The political, social and cultural tensions that permeate Heine's literature will be examined and the relations between Germany and France in the 1830s will be paid special attention.
